The income opportunity for business at home does exist.  You can make a very good, steady income. And it doesn't matter if you're based in UK, Liverpool, or USA, Idaho - the income opportunity for a home based online business lies in your long-term strategy. 

In the last few posts, we've been exploring the idea of looking at your online adventure as a longer journey. One that doesn't stop at one site…

Many people see the income opportunity, and start their online business from home.

Their aim?

To build just one site.

Well, while that might work well if you're lucky, chances are, when you're new at this, you're more likely to gain your 'executive income' by building a number of profitable sites, one at a time…

For example…

Say you have a desired monthly income in mind. And say you have three web sites that are all making a profit ( i.e. they each make enough money to cover your running costs).

You might find that your first site makes 20% of your desired monthly income, your second site makes 50%, and your third site makes 30% of your desired monthly income.

You might achieve your financial goal with just one site.

You might achieve it with 4.

Again, it all depends on you, the niches you choose, how well you implement the C-T-P-M process, and many more factors besides.

But so long as you go into this with your head screwed on and your eyes open, knowing that this isn't a 'first time lucky' type of venture, your desired income will be one step closer.

The Bottom Line…

In a nutshell?

A collection of good quality, theme-based sites, can form a little empire from which you can depend on receiving a nice, long-term income.

Your desired income can be made from lots of 'smaller' sites, just as it can be made from one 'big' one.

And realistically, unless you're lucky first time around, expect to build more than one C-T-P-M site.

This also gives you the bonus of minimizing risk: You'll be working towards reaching your desired income goal, as well as minimizing risk by not laying all your eggs in one basket.

I'll leave you with a cool, short video by a lady called Laura. She made it for a competition that a recommended, easy point-and-click system ran a while ago.

The competition challenged people to explain why they loved the point-and-click system so much, and it was open to anyone who ran their own site, using that system.

In fact, Carol's video (which you can see here, right at the bottom), was also an entry.

Lots of people entered the video competition, and some of the videos were really funny. I'll try and get more links to them for you, in future posts. The videos are being used as promo videos but they're also great because they're made by real people, who are actually **doing** it. And this will hopefully give you a sense of what is actually possible when you put your mind to it.

As you can clearly see, this is not rocket science.

…it's not easy.

It takes hard work! And since most people are in for the quick buck and the latest 'Get Rich Quick' scheme, that's where the income opportunity for your (realistic and legitimate) business from home, comes in:

If you're willing to put the work in, you really can make good money, no matter where you are based.  Liverpool, UK, to Idaho, USA - the income opportunity for the home based business is there for the taking, so long as you recognize it might be made up of a number of sites, perhaps even in different niches, not just one.
