Remember me mentioning Elad briefly in a previous post?

Well, in the 'Infopreneur' section of the video tour, the video introduces you to Elad and his sister. They built a simple and fun web site about kids' birthday parties. Within 6 months, their site became a high ranking, high traffic, and highly profitable source of income. They monetized through Google Ads and affiliate programs.

The two have since built 5 more sites, all tying back to their brand. Both enjoy total freedom and financial success without even selling any products. They are indeed, true infopreneurs.

And if you're wondering if Elad really is 'real' - here's a video he made for a competition that the easy point-and-click system ran, a while ago. People were challenged to video themselves, explaining why they loved the point-and-click system so much. The competition was open to anyone who ran their own site, using the system.

Lots of people entered the video competition, and some of the videos were really funny. I'll try and get more of these videos for you to watch, in future posts. The videos are being used as promo videos but they're also great because they're made by real people, who are actually **doing** it. And this will hopefully give you a sense of what is actually possible when you put your mind to it.

You'll see that the video also shows Luisa, a mother who works at home. Luisa loved Vieques in Puerto Rico… and decided to build a site all about it.

To most people who know nothing about internet marketing, this may not seem like a good income opportunity. But like Elad, Luisa became an 'infopreneur'. She created a site about Vieques and now earns more working part time than she ever did from her old full time job.

What I like about Luisa's example is that she's making money just by writing about her favorite place. Many people don't consider this as a site topic, but there's great demand for this kind of information online…

Nowadays, when people plan a holiday, or are about to go on a business trip, or when people plan to move to a place they don't know - many people look online for information…

Where's the best place to eat? Where's the best hideaway that tourists don't know about? Where's the best place to go for a shopping spree? What are the local hot spots?

If you're stuck for a topic, you should definitely consider researching and writing about your favorite place. If there's enough search volume, if it's not too competitive online for that niche, and if there's enough profitability there, it's certainly well worth considering.
