Today's Business Opportunity : PPC's Perpetual Income For Work-At-Home Infopreneurs
AdSense created a revolution. All of a sudden, the internet business opportunity for creating perpetual income is a real opportunity for work-at-home infopreneurs.
So if creating passive income is your business, here's the low-down on AdSense for newbies…
11 Things You Should
Know About AdSense…
- How much you get paid per click depends on the niche you choose. Remember how I mentioned in an earlier post that not all niches are equal? Well this is a perfect example. Some topics pay better than others. So when it comes to picking a niche for your site, research it carefully and choose wisely. That decision will determine how much you'll be earning in terms of AdSense revenue.
- Don't submit your site to AdSense until you've got 25 to 30 pages of good quality, original content.
It's free to join the AdSense program. But!!! Google doesn't accept any old site, so don't be too hasty in applying. Preparation is key and it's well worth the wait. - You can place the AdSense code on as many pages of your site as you wish.
- Google AdSense will show highly-targeted (relevant) adverts on your site pages. The technology does this by analyzing the words on your page. For example, a page about dog grooming will show adverts related to dogs. This means that you don't have to worry about having ads about unsuitable topics, showing up on your site.
- You can block specific sites from advertizing on your site. This is useful when you don't like the look of a site that's advertizing on your site via Google AdSense, or if you want to keep your competitors from advertising on your site.
- You can specify what the ads will look like: You can choose the colors of the text, links and background of the adverts that will appear on your site.
- Unlike some other PPC programs, the Google AdSense program is open to people from all around the world, not just the USA.
- At the time of writing this, Google pay you monthly. If your balance is less than their minimum monthly payout, then your balance gets carried over to next month's balance. You can also ask that Google 'hold' your payments until you next tell them you'd like to be paid.
- You have the option of being paid by cheque or (for some countries) via Electronic Funds Transfer. The latter payment method is especially easy as you literally don't need to do anything at all. The money just gets paid into your bank account each month.

- Where do the ads come from? The ads that show up on your site (via AdSense) come from another Google program called 'AdWords'. (More on Adwords in the next post.)
- Google AdSense has strict rules that you must abide by. And these rules do change now and again, so it's worth keeping an eye on them. You can find all the relevant links to Google's official AdSense information pages via SBI's free AdSense guide here…

Final Word
I know that I, the Home Business Geek, am probably starting to sound like a broken record by now…
… but this point can be what 'makes or breaks' you!
So please remember:
As I mentioned in earlier posts, when it comes to the proven online strategy that I recommend to most newbies, Content - Traffic - Presell - Monetize (CTPM), it's important to bear in mind that the monetization stage comes **LAST**. We're simply covering 'monetization strategies' now, because this is the most common topic that people want to know about first.
But hey! It doesn't matter if you have a whole e-commerce shop set up, or have Google Ads plastered all over your site - if you don't have visitors, you don't make money.
It's harsh but true. There's no business opportunity to create perpetual income from your work if you have no visitors! In order to successfully work from home and create passive income for your home business, you need to work on attracting Traffic. That fact applies, no matter which way you want to make your money online. You need eyeballs! [OK not literally, but you get what I mean…
]
So please bear this in mind when looking at the various options you have when it comes to making money on the internet. And in the case of the Infopreneur:
Affiliate marketing and AdSense are the end game.
But there's quite a bit to do before that - namely:
the Content - Traffic - Presell steps.
Only then can you really monetize. Only then can you really reap the seeds you've sewed.
